Cranberry Twp. HOA Neighborhood Forum Meeting Notes: June 14, 2021

Chris Bogdon, the HOA Secretary attended the monthly Cranberry Neighborhood Forum Meeting on June 14, 2021. This monthly meeting is for all HOAs to discuss concerns, issues, and other items around Cranberry Twp. The following are the meeting notes from that meeting:

Overall

  • The Neighborhood Forum created an online portal for all HOA to share information with other HOAs. They provided access to the Crossings.
Open Spaces
  • They discussed the open spaces plan for Cranberry Twp.   There is a document that Cranberry Twp. publishes that residents may want to review regarding this.   You can download the document at: https://www.cranberrytownship.org/ArchiveCenter/ViewFile/Item/1772 and they also provided an update in 2016 at 2016 Update: https://www.cranberrytownship.org/ArchiveCenter/ViewFile/Item/1770
  • One tidbit they provided is that Cranberry Twp has a Tree Canopy of 38.5%.   This means that 38.5% of the land in Cranberry Twp is covered by trees.   They also reiterated that we have more trees now than when Cranberry Twp was young. This is primarily due to the mandates for planting trees in developments.
  • They discussed the HOA responsibilities for maintaining and taking care of open spaces. In hearing some of the problems in other HOA's, the Crossings do this pretty well.
Board of Supervisors
There are three new permits being issued:
