There have been 3 resale certificates issued and one house is currently for sale.

All residents have paid their HOA dues for 2021.

We recently got a Debit Card to pay for misc. dues like the website subscription and marketing email lists.

Grounds:
We are still trying to get reimbursed for the tree that the Crossing’s HOA removed that resides on Park Place’s property.   The cost was $450.  We have reached out to the new president.

We are currently getting bids on the Detention Ponds and are planning to do at least 1 pond in the Summer of 2021.

Web Site and Social Media:
The Crossing’s HOA Website now has 171 (+5) users registered.  There are also 196 (+6) Facebook members in the Crossings Neighborhood Group.

Social:
Laura Obyc is proposing several ideas for parties and events in the spring.

There has been a great amount of feedback from the 2021 residents survey that was recently sent out. More information will be posted on the Facebook pages.

Old Business:
We are starting a special Detention Pond fund that we will allocate money into every year to help offset the cost of Detention Pond maintenance in the future.

One resident was asking about solar panels. The Crossings do not have anything in their covenants that regulate solar panels.   However, Cranberry Twp. does and we referred the resident to the appropriate Cranberry Twp. regulations.

New Business:
We will be sending out another reminder to all residents about shoveling their sidewalks during the pending snowstorms.

A resident asked us about rules around fences around their property.

One resident submitted a complaint about a resident from another neighborhood dumping dog waste in the woods on Crossing Ridge Trail. We contacted the HOA from the other neighborhood and they sent a violation letter to the resident. They are asking the resident to pick up the trash bags when the snow melts.

We are also kicking around the idea of soliciting volunteers in the Crossings who would pick up any dog waste that might be left. This idea was promoted by other neighborhoods and has been very successful. The Crossings would pay for all materials if we have interested volunteers.

If anyone is interested in running for the Crossings HOA board, please send an email to board@thecrossingsneighborhood.com
