Monthly Board Meeting
Date: Dec 9, 2020
Location: WebEx Virtual Meeting
The meeting started at 7:00 PM. All board members were. No residents were present. The previous month’s minutes were approved.
Treasurers Report:
Checking - $ 4,882.95
Savings - $ 5,742.67
Escrow - $ 1,601.29
There have been 8 resale certificates issued and two houses are currently for sale.
Dues letters will be sent out next week to all residents.
We are currently working on the year-end finances and 2021 budgets.
Grounds:
Two trees in the park were cut down that were about to fall over.
We are still trying to get reimbursed for the tree that the Crossing’s HOA removed that resides on Park Place’s property. The cost was $450. We have reached out to the new president.
We are currently getting bids on the Detention Ponds and are planning to do at least 1 pond in the Summer of 2021.
Web Site and Social Media:
The Crossing’s HOA Website now has 166 (+0) users registered. There are also 190 (+0) Facebook members in the Crossings Neighborhood Group.
Social:
We would like to welcome Laura Obyc to the social committee. We would like to thank Carrie Silvers for serving on the board over the last few years.
Luminary Day will be Sunday, Dec 20th with the Rain Date of Dec 24th. All luminaires have been received and will be distributed to all residents over the next week.
Old Business:
A resident is asking about adding a shed and based on our meeting with the resident, we approved the location of the proposed shed.
We are starting a special Detention Pond fund that we will allocate money into every year to help offset the cost of Detention Pond maintenance in the future.
New Business:
One resident was asking about solar panels. The Crossings do not have anything in their covenants that regulate solar panels. However, Cranberry Twp does and we referred the resident to the appropriate Cranberry Twp. regulations.
We will be creating a survey for all residents to help us guide the direction of the board for 2021. Please be on the lookout for a survey after the first of the year.
