Crossings HOA Meeting Minutes – May 16, 2018

Board Meeting
Date: May 16, 2018
Location: Phase 1 Common Area
Meeting started at 7:00 PM. All board members were present except Brenda Haney. There were two residents at the meeting. Previously month’s minutes were approved.
Treasurers Report:
Checking - $21,727.20
Savings - $ 5734.76
There is 1 homeowner who has not yet paid their dues. Late notices with penalties will be continually sent to this homeowner.
There are 3 resale certificates that have been issued.
Grounds:
We are currently requesting bids from 5 landscape companies to allow us to switch landscaping companies. In addition to the 5 bids, we are requesting bids for the trails connecting all the common areas as well as the edging around the swingset in the phase 1 common area.
Web Site and Social Media:
The Crossing’s HOA Website has 182 users registered. There are also 147 Facebook members in the Crossings Neighborhood Group.
Social:
Our spring party is set. It will be held Friday June 8th at 6:00pm. We will be sending more information about the logistics. We are planning to show a movie like we have in the past.

Our annual Garage Sale will be held on Friday May 25th and Sat May 26th. We have posted advertisement in the PennySaver.
Old Business:
The house on Trowbridge Court was ready to go for Sheriff’s sale, but the appropriate fees were not paid properly. Therefore, they are awaiting the fees to be paid before they can continue with the sale. In addition, we will be contacting the township to help with them cutting the grass.
New Business:
We have received multiple complaints about the landscaping company dumping grass clippings in the woods in the Phase 1 Common Area. We contacted the company, and they said they were granted approval to do this a while ago. As a result, we are contemplating terminating the contract with the landscaping company.

Next Meeting:
The next board meeting will be our annual meeting and it will be held on June 27, 2018 at 7:00pm and the location will be at the Phase 1 Common Area.
