HOA Board Meeting Minutes – Feb 22, 2017

Board Meeting

Date:   Feb 22, 2017

Location: Kendlick’s Residence

Meeting started at 7:00 PM. All board members were present except Chris Bogdon and Ray Speicher.  No residents were present for the open floor session.

Treasurers Report:

Checking - $23,296.29

Savings - $ 5,731.92

We have received 1 resale certificates so far in 2017.

We have received HOA Due payments from 146 out of 149 homeowners.  3 are still outstanding and one home is abandoned.

Grounds:

No updates.

Web Site:

The Crossing’s HOA Website has 171 users registered.   There are also 128 Facebook members in the Crossings Neighborhood Group.

Old Business:

There are no more updates with the house in foreclosure on Trowbridge Place.   When anything changes, we will communicate to the residents.

There will be one board member stepping down in April 2017.   We have received one volunteer to run for the open board seat.

Letters were sent to several homeowners notifying them of covenant violations and demanding resolution.

We are currently summarizing the neighborhood HOA survey that was recently sent.   The PowerPoint presentation will be posted shortly to all residents.

New Business:

A proposal to amend the covenants to address the rental situation will be drafted and sent to all homeowners for a vote within 60 days.

The annual meeting will be held on April 19, 2017 in the phase I pavilion.   More details will be published soon.

Planning has recently begun for the “Annual May Party in the Pavilion”.   More details will be published soon.

Our survey generated 10 people interested in the volunteering for the social committee, but so far only 3 people have forwarded their names.   If you were interested in helping out, please send an email to board@thecrossingsneighborhood.com.

Next Meeting:

The next board meeting will be held on Mar 22 at 7:00 PM at the Sullivan’s residence at 132 Crossing Ridge Trail.
