Board Meeting
Date: July 9, 2014 at 7:30pm
Location: Speicher Residence
The meeting began promptly at 7:30 PM at the Speicher residence. The following board members were present: Chris Bogdon; Jack Curran; Brian Kile; Chuck Kraynik; Jim Lacey; Ray Speicher; and Kevin Sullivan.
New neighbors, James and Ashley Patterson, were present at the open floor portion of the meeting to present plans for installation of a fence at their home at 163 Crossing Ridge Trail. The board reviewed the planned project and approved the plan as presented.
Treasurer's Report
Jim Lacey reported the following:
As of July 9, 2014:
Savings Account balance - $5,724.06
Checking Account balance - $24,864.90
Grounds Report
Repair work is underway in the Phase 1 and Phase 2 picnic areas. The pavilion roofs have been repaired. Minor repairs to several picnic tables and painting will be completed soon.
The same contractor is preparing a bid to repair a resident’s fence that was damaged last November when a free space tree fell on it. Jessen Tree service is already scheduled to remove the tree that fell and approximately 7 others in that area.
The new contract with Jessen Tree Service will be reviewed and is expected to be signed this week.
There are several trees in the free spaces between Powell Road and the back yard of several residents on Crossing Ridge Trail that need to be removed. Jessen Tree Service will prepare a bid for this work.
A resident on Winchester Court reported that a back yard fence is being overrun by vines from between this lot and Rochester Road. Brian Kile volunteered to check with Cranberry Township about responsibility for maintaining this area. If it is determined to be the responsibility of the HOA, the board will take appropriate action to remedy this problem.
Web-Site
Chris Bogdon reported that here are now a total of 116 registered users on the web-site. The Crossings Directory available on the web-site was updated in July.
New Business
The maintenance contract with Goerl Landscaping will expire at the end of 2014. Ray Speicher will open discussion with Goerl to renegotiate acceptable terms.
Board positions for the 2014/2015 term were determined. They are as follows.

The next meeting is scheduled for August 6 at 7:00pm at the Sullivan residence at 132 Crossing Ridge Trail.
