HOA Board Meeting Minutes – Nov 18, 2015

Board Meeting
Date: Nov 18, 2015
Location: Sullivan’s Residence
The meeting began promptly at 7:00pm at the Sullivan’s residence. The following board members were present: Ray Speicher, Kevin Sullivan, Ken Chrin, and Mike Kendlick. Jim Lacey and Chris Bogdon was unable to attend due to prior commitments.
No Crossings residents were present for the open floor portion of the meeting
The minutes of the Oct 14th monthly meeting were read and approved.
Treasurers Report:
Checking - $11,632.86
Savings - $5728.35
Received 13 of 15 resale certifications
2016 Budget is under development and will be prepared for the December meeting
Grounds Report:
We will contact the Park Place HOA to see who they have contracted to clear their section of the sidewalk along Powell Rd. We would like to have them clear the 25 feet of new sidewalk that is on our property.
All repairs and improvements to the trees, lamp posts and fences at the plan entrances and park entrances will be done in the spring.
The phase 1 retention pond will need to be cleaned in the spring. There are some tree and plant growth starting to take hold.
Old Business:
No change on the status of the home on the corner on Trowbridge.
New Business:
Homeowners are reminded we have a Facebook page that can be used to coordinate group buys of materials and services.
Luminary night is scheduled for Sunday 20 December. Order forms will be distributed soon.
The Board is looking for volunteers for a Social Committee. Duties will include planning events such as the Easter Egg Hunt, Halloween parade and Christmas Party. Please send an email to board@thecrossingsneighborhood.com If you are interested.
One of our residents has proposed as his senior project to add a bench in the phase 1 park. This would be built to match the existing bench near the playground equipment. There would be no cost to the homeowners.
The next meeting will be held at Ray Spiechers home on 16 December at 7:00 PM.
