Grounds Report
The new contract with Jessen Tree Service is now completed and signed. The Certificate of Insurance is on file.
Jessen has submitted bids for several trees at 110 Crossing Ridge Trail and 170 Crossing Ridge Trail. A motion to approve was made and seconded. The vote to award the job was approved. We are expecting additional bids for removal of a tree struck by lightning on Stonehenge and several other in need of removal on Sheffield Court.
Ray Speicher is negotiating a new contract with Goerl Landscaping as the current 3 year agreement will expire at year-end. Currently, the landscape maintenance period is April 1 through November 15th with two autumn cleanups. To reduce cost, we are considering shortening this period in the new agreement to begin April 15 and continue through 10/31. If additional work is required after 10/31, we will request as needed.
New Business
No Dumping signs will be purchased and posted if several free space areas as discussed at the August meeting.
Another observation of non-working post lamps will be done later this month and another notice will be posted on the web-site to remind everyone of the importance of working post lamps, especially at this time of year when our children are leaving for school in the dark and when sunset arrives so early in the evening.
The next meeting is scheduled for October 8 at 7:00pm at the Speicher residence at 110 Crossing Ridge Trail.
