Grounds Report

Repair work is complete in the Phase 1 and Phase 2 picnic areas. The same contractor repaired a resident’s fence that was damaged last November when a free space tree fell on it. Jessen Tree service removed the tree that fell and approximately 12 others in that area.

The new contract with Jessen Tree Service is still being negotiated.

Brian Kile confirmed that the grapevine which has overrun a neighbor’s fence and trees behind the fence is in the common space of the association and is accordingly the responsibility of the HOA to remedy

The contract with Goerl Landscaping will expire at the end of 2014 unless agreement is reached for renewal. Ray Speicher will solicit bids from other landscaping companies for comparison.

New Business

Congratulations to The Crossings softball team for winning this year’s Cranberry Cup tournament! This is one more reason that makes The Crossings such a great neighborhood.

A motion was made and approved to post several “No Dumping” signs near the free space playground

The next meeting is scheduled for September 10 at 7:00pm at the Kraynik residence at 138 Crossing Ridge Trail.
