The Crossings Homeowners Association Board Meeting
Date: Oct 18, 2017

Location: Bogdon’s Residence

Treasurers Report:

Checking - $7225.38

Savings - $ 5733.34

We still have landscaping, insurance, electric and lawyer bills to pay before the end of the year.

Grounds:

We have decided to defer the decision on new gravel for the trails until next year. There is also discussion on if we should use the granulated gravel that is used in the trail to the Park Place development. We will discuss further in the spring.

Web Site and Social Media:

The Crossing’s HOA Website has 174 users registered. There are also 142 Facebook members in the Crossings Neighborhood Group.

Due to a lot of people wanting to join our Facebook page, we are implementing a new feature on the Facebook page to ask verification that they live in the Crossings when they register. This should help us determine if people are eligible for the Facebook page.

Social:

The Fall Party will occur on Sunday 29th. This will include a Halloween party, Chili Cook Off and a party with music. Information will be posted to all residents. If you are interested in participating or making Chili, please register at the following link:

Old Business:

There is no date set yet for the Sheriff’s sales of the abandoned house on Trowbridge Court.

We are currently awaiting the attorney reviews of the new proposed covenants. Once they are completed, we will send them out for voting.

New Business:

There has been a question from Residents regarding trees being cut down in the common area without Board Approval. We are following up on this and will provide more status.

We are looking for volunteers for managing the annual Luminary event in December. Anyone who is interested in volunteering, please send an email to board@thecrossingsneighborhood.com

One resident was interested in volunteering for the helping with landscaping at the entrances. We greatly appreciate residents volunteering, but unfortunately, we have a contract with a landscaper to provide this service. We appreciate the volunteering.

Upcoming Events:

October 29th – Fall Party and Chili Cookoff

Next Meeting:

The next board meeting will be held on Nov 15th at 7:00 PM and the location will be at the Silvers residence at 304 Winchester Court.
