All bills have been paid for this year.
We have received a total of 9 resale certificates for 2016. This was down from 15 resale certificates in 2015.
All of the 2017 HOA Dues notifications were sent out to all residents. We have already received payments from 29 residents.
Grounds:
The board voted on to renew the contracts of both Goerl (Landscaping) and Jessen (Tree Service) for 2017.
Web Site:
The Crossing’s HOA Website has 170 users registered. There are also 124 Facebook members in the Crossings Neighborhood Group.
Old Business:
There is no more update with the house in foreclosure on Trowbridge Place. When anything changes, we will communicate to the residents.
There will be one board member stepping down in April 2017. We have already received some interest from a few residents to serve on the board.
We invited a lawyer to the HOA Board Meeting to discuss with us the options for amending the covenants for 2017. We have decided that the deadline for amending the covenants will be the End of the 1st Quarter 2017. In addition, within the next few weeks, all residents should be receiving a survey from the HOA board to help us solicit feedback on modifications for the covenants.
New Business:
We still are soliciting people to help with activities in the neighborhood. We would ideally like a person to volunteer for each of the activities listed below. The HOA Board will be behind the volunteers 100% to ensure the success of the activities.
- Easter Egg Hunt
- Garage Sale– Already filled
- Spring Party
- Fall Party
- Halloween
- Christmas Party
Due to several complaints from residents in the neighborhood, we will be contacting several homeowners due to their violation of the covenants.
Since the weather is starting to change, we will be sending out a reminder to all residents as to the requirement to clear snow from their sidewalks.
We will also be reminding all residents about the requirement for them to maintain their post light.
Next Meeting:
The next board meeting will be held on Jan 18th at 7:00 PM at the Speicher’s residence 110 Crossing Ridge Trail.
