The Crossings HOA Board would like to remind all residents that it is their responsibility to remove snow from all sidewalks as quickly as possible. This is a requirement of both the Crossings HOA Covenants as well as Cranberry Twp.

Winter Sidewalk Maintenance
Whose sidewalk is it anyway?
It's yours. Many residents and business owners are confused about who is responsible for taking care of the sidewalks in front of their homes, offices and stores. As a result, people who are required to clear snow and otherwise maintain those sidewalks are sometimes unaware of their responsibilities.
Regardless of who originally built the sidewalk, the Township's ordinance requires the owner whose property is traversed by that sidewalk to clear its full width within 48 hours of a snow event.
Township officials plan to enforce its provisions as needed this winter. Ordinance 2014-451

Lot owners are required to keep the sidewalks in front of their properties in good repair and in a non-hazardous condition. This includes timely snow and ice removal.
