Crossings HOA Meeting Minutes – July 22, 2020
The Crossings Homeowners Association
Monthly Board Meeting
Date: July 22, 2020
Location: Phase One Common Area
The meeting started at 7:00 PM. All board members were present except Brenda Haney and Jim Lacey. One resident was present. The previous month’s minutes were approved.
Treasurers Report:
Checking - $20,640.34
Savings - $ 5741.23
Escrow - $ 1601.09
There have been 5 resale certificates issued.
Grounds:
The HOA is getting a quote for adding power to the Phase 1 Common Area.
We got several bids for the trail project in the Phase One common area. The bids were by Pioneer Paving ($6100.00) and BLS Hardscapes ($2250.00). We have chosen to use BLS Hardscapes for the project. They will begin this project on Thursday Jul 23.
We have gotten a Bid for the retention pond replacement from BLS Hardscapes. This bid came in at $27,500. The maintenance will need to be done in the upcoming years and we plan on getting several competitive bids. There will probably need a special assessment in the future to cover the cost of the repairs.
There has been one tree that has fallen down near a resident’s house. The board has chosen to take care of the stump issue on this very large tree. We will be contacting Jessen Tree Service Shortly.
Web Site and Social Media:
The Crossing’s HOA Website now has 164 (+3) users registered. There are also 184 (+6) Facebook members in the Crossings Neighborhood Group.
Social:
The July 24th Happy Hour Social is occurring and we are hosting two food trucks. All the details will be published out to the Facebook page.
Old Business:

New Business:
We had one resident complain of lack of maintenance on the Phase 3 Common Area path. We are going to get a quote on putting weed block on that path.
