Grounds:
JML came out and placed down more mulch and put new mulch in the playground in Phase 1 Common area. JML is going to be using a brush hog to clean away the two trails on Crossing Ridge and Hunting Ridge.   Once the trails are cleaned out, the contractor will start investigating the installation of the culvert.

The dogwood tree at the entrance to the trail to the phase two park has been replaced by the HOA.

The HOA is getting a quote for adding power to the Phase 1 Common Area.

Web Site and Social Media:
We performed maintenance on the Crossings HOA Website and cleaned out residents who have moved.  The Crossing’s HOA Website now has 161 (-23) users registered.  There are also 178 (-2) Facebook members in the Crossings Neighborhood Group.

We have placed flyers in all resident’s mailboxes encouraging them to sign up for the website and the Facebook page. We are also going to modify the resale certificate that all residents get when they move into the neighborhood to include the information on the website and the Facebook page.

The website has been successfully moved to our own hosting account.  There have been no issues reported with the website.

Social:
We are tentatively scheduling a Happy Hour for all residents in the Phase 1 Common Area on July 24th.   We are also looking at the option of getting a food truck for the day for all residents.

Old Business:
Rewriting of our By-Laws for the neighborhood is in progress. We have a meeting on June 24th to finalize the By-Laws.

We had a complaint from one resident who was concerned about a tree that fell into the common area between Park Place and the Crossings. We have reached out to Park Place and still working with them to prove that the tree is in the common areas.

New Business:
The Fourth of July is right around the corner and we know that a lot of residents will be celebrating with fireworks. To all pet owners in the neighborhood, please take any precautions with your pets around this time.  To any resident who would like to set off fireworks at other times, please be considerate of other neighbors that might have pets.  We ask that you post on Facebook if you are planning to launch fireworks, so residents can prepare their pets.

Upcoming Events:
Tentative – July 24th Neighborhood Happy Hour

Next Meeting:
The next board meeting will be on July 22nd at the Phase 1 Common Area.
