The Crossings Homeowners Association

Annual Board Meeting

Date:  Nov 20, 2019 

Location: Silvers Residence

 

Meeting started at 7:00 PM. All board members were present. There were no residents present.  Previous month’s minutes were approved.

 

Treasurers Report:

Checking -         $5437.41

Savings -           $ 5739.79

Escrow -          $1,600.49

 

There are 11 resale certificates issued and there is 1 house currently for sale. 

 

Dues letters are being prepared to be sent out on December 15^th.   The board has decided not to raise dues and they will remain at $172.50.

 

Grounds:

We contacted the landscaper about repairing culvert and gravel for park trail from Hunting Ridge.   Current estimate is $5200.   We will be repairing this trail in the spring

 

Web Site and Social Media:

The Crossing’s HOA Website has 183 (0) users registered.   There are also 166 (0) Facebook members in the Crossings Neighborhood Group.

 

We have decided to switch our email platform to Mailchimp.   This will provide us with enhanced features and capabilities to make it much easier to distribute information to all residents.   All residents would still sign up for it via the Website and they will automatically be added to the Mailchimp mailing list.   All residents should have received a welcome email on November 20^th, 2019.

 

Social:

Light up night is currently scheduled for Sunday December 22^nd.   Rain Date is going to be December 24^th.    Luminary forms will be distributed shortly.    We hope everyone can walk around and meet your neighbors.

 

Old Business:

There was a complaint of fireworks in the park common area.   Several neighbors have complained about fireworks.   Please be courteous to your neighbors and let people know that you are planning to set off fireworks.   There are a lot of methods to alert your neighbors including: Facebook and letting the board know so we can distribute a broadcast to everyone.

 

Rewriting of our By-Laws for the neighborhood are in progress.

Next Meeting:

The next board meeting will be on January 8th, 2020 and it will be held at Bogdon’s residence at 114 Crossing Ridge Trail.
