Crossings HOA Meeting Minutes – Mar 13, 2019

The Crossings Homeowners Association

Board Meeting

Date:   Mar 13, 2019

Location: Silver’s Residence

Meeting started at 7:00 PM. All board members were present except Keith Meyer and Brenda Haney.  Brian Kile participated via a conference call.   Previous month’s minutes were approved.

Treasurers Report:

Checking -       $24970.33

Savings -           $ 5737.64

Escrow -           $1100.05

There are 3 resale certificates issued and there are 3 houses currently for sale. 

All residents have paid their yearly dues.

One resident has not provided his escrow requirement for renting his house and the official letter will be sent this week!

Grounds:

The contractor that addresses the paving of the Phase 1 Trail will be returning in the spring to correct some of the issues that were discovered with the trail.

Two new Picnic tables are going to be purchased for the Phase 1 park.   The picnic tables will be Burgundy and will each eat 8 people.

New Trees are also going to be investigated in the Phase 1 park in the spring.

We are investigation the option of repairing the trail that connects Hunting Ridge Trail and Crossing Ridge Trail through the woods.   During the next meeting, we will do a walkthrough before we get quotes for the repair.

Grills are going to be reinstalled in the spring.

We will be providing a spring cleanup in the park where we will address most concerns that have been raised with the HOA.

Web Site and Social Media:

The Crossing’s HOA Website has 178 (no change) users registered.   There are also 161 (no change) Facebook members in the Crossings Neighborhood Group.

Social:

We are planning the 2019 Block party and are looking for feedback from the residents on the party being around the fourth of July weekend.   We will be publishing a survey on Facebook to get interest.

Old Business:

We will be re-writing the bylaws in the future and this effort will be initiated in April.   These bylaws represent the rules of the HOA Board.

New Business:

We will be replacing all lights that are burned out with LED lights.

A resident complained about pine cones falling into his year from common ground trees.   We will be addressing this by trimming the trees.

A resident wanted to provide input on people who don’t clean up after their dogs.   We will be trying to solicit feedback on anything that can be done.

A resident had several concerns about the Phase I park.  We will be addressing all the complaints during the spring cleanup.

Next Meeting:

The next board meeting will be on Monday April 29th at 7:00pm and the location will be the Phase 1 Common Area
