Crossings HOA Meeting Minutes – Jan 16, 2019

Board Meeting
Date: Jan 16, 2019
Location: Lacey’s Residence
Meeting started at 7:00 PM. All board members were present except Keith Meyer. Previous month’s minutes were approved.
Treasurers Report:
Checking - $17,344.99
Savings - $ 5,736.90
Escrow - $1100.05
There are no resale certificates issued yet and there are 4 houses for sale.
All dues letters have been sent out to residents. Keep in mind that the amount is due on January 31, 2019. There will be two automated reminders that will be sent out prior to the due dates to remind all residents. So far 96 residents have paid.
One resident has not provided his escrow requirement for renting his house and will be contacted officially by letter.
Grounds:
The contractor that addresses the paving of the Phase 1 Trail will be returning in the spring to correct some of the issues that were discovered with the trail.
New Picnic tables are going to be purchased in the Spring for the Phase 1 park.
New Trees are also going to be installed in the Phase 1 park in the spring.
We are determining what other trails will be paved in 2019.
We are investigation the option of repairing the trail that connects Hunting Ridge Trail and Crossing Ridge Trail through the woods.
Grills are going to be reinstalled in the spring.
Web Site and Social Media:
The Crossing’s HOA Website has 178 (no change) users registered. There are also 161 (+7) Facebook members in the Crossings Neighborhood Group.
Social:
Thank you for everyone participating in the 2018 Luminary Day. It was a great success and we were excited with the great weather and the number of families that participated.
Old Business:
The house that was sold at Sheriff’s sale on Trowbridge already paid the dues for 2019. However, we are still waiting for the fines and fees that were not paid.
We will be re-writing the bylaws in the future and this effort will be initiated in February. These bylaws represent the rules of the HOA Board.
New Business:
The budget has been approved and will be sent to all residents shortly.

Next Meeting:
The next board meeting will be on February 20th, 2019 at 7:00pm and the location will be at 152 Crossing Ridge Trail.
