HOA Board Meeting Minutes – 9-27-17
The Crossings Homeowners Association
Board Meeting
Date: Sept 27, 2017
Location: Common Area
Meeting started at 7:00 PM. All board members were present except Mike Kendlick and Chris Bogdon due to work commitments. There were no residents present. Previously month’s minutes were approved.
Treasurers Report:
Checking - $7282.26
Savings - $ 5733.34
We have received two resale certificates paid in the last month.
We still have landscaping, insurance and lawyer bills to pay before the end of the year.
Grounds:
Our current landscaping agreement ends next fall so we will be soliciting and reviewing bids from at least 3 different companies.
Web Site and Social Media:
The Crossing’s HOA Website has 173 users registered. There are also 131 Facebook members in the Crossings Neighborhood Group.
Social:
There will be a “Ladies Night” on Sept 29th. Details were posted in the Facebook group.
There will also be a Halloween Parade and party on Sunday, October 29th. The location and details will be published.
Old Business:
There is no date set yet for the Sheriff’s sales of the abandoned house on Trowbridge Court.
We are currently awaiting the attorney reviews of the new proposed covenants. Once they are completed, we will send them out for voting.
New Business:
There have been some questions regarding trees, fences and property lines. Most of these types of questions are best answered by neighbors talking to each other.

Next Meeting:
The next board meeting will be held on Oct 18th at 7:00 PM and the location will be at the Bogdon's House (114 Crossing Ridge Trail).
