CROSSINGS NEIGHBORHOOD: It’s Cranberry Cup Time Again!!!!
It is Cranberry Cup time again. The tournament will be the weekend of August 5/6. There will be a meeting in the Phase 1 pavilion on Wednesday June 7, at 7:00 for any one wishing to play this year. There were some slight rule changes this year which will effect eligible players and how line-ups will work which will be discussed. If you have an interest in playing, please plan to attend this meeting. We will need a good count of team members in order to distribute tickets, set up schedule for next couple months, and make decisions on how to reclaim our title.
For those who do not play, I would also like to encourage everyone to help us maintain our other title. We have been the top fund raising neighborhood 5 or 6 times in a row, and that is as big an accomplishment as our back-to-back tourney championships. The challenge was issued to all other neighborhoods at Thursday's first meeting to dethrone us. I know we can maintain this title, but will take more than the couple of people who have really driven it the past few years. All donations are welcome (personal, corporate, etc).
