HOA Board Meeting Minutes – 6-29-16

The Crossings Homeowners Association

Board Meeting

Date:   June 29, 2016

Location: Sullivan’s Residence

Meeting started at 7:00 PM at the Sullivan’s Residence. All board members were present except Ray Speicher and Ken Chrin who were absent due to work commitments.  No residents were present for the open floor session

Treasurers Report:

Checking - $21,018.56

Savings - $ 5,729.78

The annual dues for all residents are paid up with the exception of the vacant home on Trowbridge Ct.

We have received 6 resale certificates this year.

Grounds:

Any posts and rails that were damaged have been fixed for the entrances of the park.

We brought in the excavator to look and determine the quality of the two retention ponds in the neighborhood.   The Retention Pond near the farmhouse on Rochester Road is in great shape.   The second retention pond in phase II required to be cleaned out.   We have authorized him to perform the clean out and it has been completed.

Web Site:

We currently have 113 people signed up for the Facebook page.   We also have 186 people signed up for the Website.

We recently expanded out anti-spam tools on the website to prevent spammers from trying to get access to our website.   These have been very effective thus far.

Old Business:

With respect to the vacant house on Trowbridge Court, the foreclosure complaint has been officially served.   As a result, the house should be up for sale in about 3 months.

New Business:

We inadvertently failed to recognize Jake Albert for finishing his Senior Project of building a new bench in the phase 1 park and refinishing Maggie’s bench.   The Crossings HOA board would like to thank him for his hard work.

The board voted and decided to purchase new baseball shirts for the Crossing’s Softball Team.   These will be used for the Cranberry Cup.   Like the last time, the HOA Board will retain ownership of these shirts.

Due to the success of our party in May, we are looking to have another party on Saturday Aug 6th.  This will coincide with the final game of the Cranberry Cup.   All residents are welcomed and encouraged to attend.  RSVP information will be sent out in the coming weeks.

Next Meeting:

The next board meeting will be held on July 20th at 7:00 PM at the Bogdon’s residence, 114 Crossing Ridge Trail.
