Treasurers Report:
Checking - $31,036.13
Savings -  $5,729.07

We have received 146 out of 150 HOA dues from residents.   We have mailed a reminder to the remaining 4 residents.

Taxes will be due in March and we are currently preparing the returns.
Grounds Report:

In the spring, we will be discussing planting plants on the entrances.   We are going to determine what plants to use since we want to minimize the expenses of maintaining them in the future.

We also determined that we are going to pick a date in April to repair the fence posts at the entrances to the walking trails.

Website
We currently have 169 residents registered for the Crossings Website.   Of these 169 residents, 30 of them are multiple people in the same house (husband and wife).   Therefore, currently we have 139 unique residences registered for the website.

We also have 90 Residents registered for the Crossings Facebook page.
Old Business:
No change on the status of the home on the corner on Trowbridge.

New Business:

The Crossings Men’s Golf League is looking for new members.   It is a weekly 9 hole league from 4:30 to 6:00pm on Monday evenings.   It starts in the first week of April.   If interested, please contact Tom Bonham at 724-553-5934.

We received a question about a storm water question on a house that was being purchased.   The concern was about water pooling in the yard.   We told the real estate agent to recommend to the neighbors to address the concern directly with the neighbors.   If they don’t make any progress, then they can bring up a formal complaint to the HOA board.

Another resident brought up a complaint about a dumpster being present in a driveway since early December.   We are going to send the owners of the house a letter to require the dumpster be removed.

At the end of 2015, we were notified about a registered sex offender living with another family in the neighborhood.  The covenants restrict homes in the neighborhood to single family use and prohibit sex offenders. We have reviewed the situation with our lawyers and believe that the person in question no longer lives in the neighborhood.  Our lawyer has sent a formal response to the home owners to confirm that the individual no longer lives here.

The next board meeting will be March 23, 2016 at the Bogdon’s home at 114 Crossing Ridge trail.   The meeting will begin at 7:00pm.
