HOA Board Meeting Notes – 12-18-15

Board Meeting

Date:   Dec 16, 2015

Location: Speicher’s Residence

 

The meeting began promptly at 7:00pm at the Speicher’s residence.   The following board members were present: Jim Lacey, Chris Bogdon, Ray Speicher, Kevin Sullivan, and Mike Kendlick. Ken Chrin and Brian Kile was unable to attend due to prior commitments.

One Crossing's Resident was present for a discussion.

The minutes of the Nov 18th monthly meeting were read and approved.

Treasurers Report:
Checking - $9444.45
Savings - $5728.35

Received 13 resale certificates and there are 5 more houses for sale

2016 Budget is under development and should be available shortly.   In addition, the Financial Report for 2015 is currently being prepared.

The mailing went out for the 2016 HOA Dues and all the residents should have received it.

Grounds Report:
We will still be determining if someone will be able to clear the sidewalk that was installed to connect the Park Place development with the Crossing’s on Powell Road.

We will need to determine if the phase 1 retention pond needs to be cleaned in 2016. There are some tree and plant growth starting to take hold.   We will be contacting the company that was used for the repairing the retention pond to schedule a meeting early next year.

A complaint regarding a tree being removed from the common area has been address with the resident.

We currently have 163 residents registered for the Crossings Website.

We also have 74 Residents registered for the Crossings Facebook page.

Old Business:

No change on the status of the home on the corner on Trowbridge.

New Business:

The resident that was present brought up two main concerns regarding the lack of lights or reflectors on the Powell road sidewalk extension and down by the 2nd retention pond on Crossing Ridge Trail.   The board has started discussing the alternatives to rectify the situation.

There will be an emergency meeting on December 23rd at The Speicher’s home at 7:00pm.  This meeting is to address an important issue.   There will be no open portion for this meeting,
