HOA Board Meeting Minutes – Sept, 9, 2015

Board Meeting

Date:      Sept 9, 2015

Location: Speicher Residence

 

The meeting began promptly at 7:00pm at the Speicher residence.   The following board members were present:  Brian Kile, Jim Lacey, Ray Speicher and Chris Bogdon.  Ken Chrin  and Kevin Sullivan were unable to attend due to work commitments.

No Crossings residents were present for the open floor portion of the meeting

The minutes of the Aug 19 monthly meeting were read and approved.

 

Treasurer’s Report

                  Savings Account:                 $ 5,727.63

Checking Account:             $ 14,882.83

We have received 10 resale certificates for houses being sold in the Crossings.   There are an additional 5 other houses for sale

 

Grounds Report

The HOA Board will wait until the spring to plant new plants at the entrances to the Crossings.

 

The board is going to begin to replaces the posts and fences at the entrances starting the week of Sept 14th.

 

Website

We have had 2 new residents register for the website.

 

New Business

House on Trowbridge is still in the foreclosure process.   It will not be listed for Sheriff’s Sale before the end of the year.   We will keep everyone apprised of this situation.

We have received a thank you letter from Cheryl Navalinskas to show her appreciation for sending flowers to the funeral of Chuck.

Mike Kendlick has expressed interest in joining the board but was unable to attend this meeting.

Mary Mason provided several suggestions for a welcoming committee.   We are going to provide her with more information and will look forward to welcoming the new members to the Crossings Neighborhood.

It has been noticed that there is sediment beginning to form in the retention pond in the Phase 1 area.   We are going to bring in the excavator for his opinion and to determine if will will need to remove it in the near future.

 

The next meeting of the HOA board is schedule for 7:00pm on Wednesday, Oct 14th at the Bogdon’s Residence at 114 Crossing Ridge Trail.   As always, anyone wishing to provide comments and concerns is asked to join us for the first 30 minutes open-floor session of our meeting.
