Grounds Report

A house on Crossing Ridge Trail’s tree was struck by lightning.   We have removed the tree from the property.

A resident inquired about vine’s that seem to be overgrowing on public property on Rochester Road. We are going to discuss the situation with the resident and try to determine what the concerns are.

We are going to look at the entrances to the common spaces and will get estimates for new bushes to replace the dead bushes.   A recommendation will be provided at the next board meeting.

The guard rails on Crossing Ridge Trail have been removed. During the removal of the guard rails, we were alerted of potential trees that are dead that should be removed.   We will investigate these trees.

Website

We currently have 156 people registered for the website.   And we have 63 people registered with our Facebook page.

We have no new residents on the website.

New Business

Two residents would like to join the board.   We are going to talk to both residents and see if they are interested.  We are planning to invite both to the next board meeting to discuss.

A resident mentioned about a Wasp nest in the phase two common areas.   The board will investigate it an see if it can be removed by us.

House on Trowbridge is not listed for a Sheriff’s Sale.   The next sale is not until August. We are going to contact the bank to continue to take care of the yard..

As previously discussed, a bear was found in the yard of two residents.   It was discovered between 133 Crossing Ridge Trail and 138 Crossing Ridge Trail.   The game commission was alerted and we just want residents to be on the look out in case it comes back.   We would recommend that anyone who sees the bear in the future, should immediately call the game commission.

Since there have been a lot of new residents moving into the neighborhood, we are planning to go to these new residents and invite them to enroll in the website so they can keep up to date on the activities in the Crossings.

The next meeting of the HOA board is schedule for 7:00pm on Wednesday, August 19th at 7:00pm at the Chrin’s Resident at 117 Crossing Ridge Trail.   As always, anyone wishing to provide comments and concerns is asked to join us for the first 30 minutes open-floor session of our meeting.
