The Crossing’s family recently lost a wonderful neighbor and friend...   Chuck Navalinskas passed away late last week.

The funeral arrangements are:

Chuck's family will welcome friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, June 29, 2015, at the GLENN-KILDOO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES INC., 130 Wisconsin Avenue, Cranberry Township. A blessing service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at the funeral home with Father William Dorner as celebrant

The full obituary is as follows:

Charles B. "Chuck" Navalinskas, 65, of Cranberry Township, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2015, while under the care of Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. Born Dec. 11, 1949, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of late Bernie and Vi (Panza) Navalinskas. Chuck was a 1967 graduate of North Catholic High School and a 1972 graduate of Slippery Rock State College where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in secondary education. After many years of dedicated service, he retired from Weleski Transfer Moving and Storage in Tarentum. During his free time, Chuck loved steel head fishing at Lake Erie with his friends, bowling at the Millvale Lanes and swimming at the Rose E. Schneider Family YMCA in Cranberry Township. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his adoring wife of 41 years, Cheryl L. (Reese) Navalinskas; his mother-in-law, Agatha Reese, of Plain Grove; his sister-in-law, Renee Madden and her companion, Kirk Renner, of Stahlstown; his brother-in-law, Robert Reese and his wife, Lannette, of the North Hills; his four nephews; one niece; and numerous cousins and extended family members. In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Wayne Reese. Chuck's family will welcome friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, June 29, 2015, at the GLENN-KILDOO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES INC., 130 Wisconsin Avenue, Cranberry Township. A blessing service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at the funeral home with Father William Dorner as celebrant. He will be laid to rest at the South Plain Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Chuck's honor in support of the Rose E. Schneider Family YMCA, in memo please designate Chuck Navalinskas, Aquatic Program, 2001 Ehrman Road, Cranberry Township, PA 16066.
