HOA Board Meeting – Oct 17, 2012
October Meeting Minutes - Crossings Board of Directors
The meeting began promptly at 7:00 PM at the Curran residence. The following board members were present: Jack Curran, Jim Lacey, Brian Kile and Kevin Sullivan. Observing the proceedings was Murphy Curran.
The August meeting minutes were read and approved.
Treasurer's Report
Checking Account balance - $11,569.05
Savings - $5,719.04
Collections efforts are continuing with the two homeowners still delinquent on dues and assessments.
The bill for landscaping services from Goerl in the amount of $1,086.00 has been paid.
Grounds Report
Ray and Jim took one of the tree services around to look at the 22 trees in the common areas that need to be removed. We are waiting for one more bid before we award the work.
A notice will be sent to all homeowners reminding people walking dogs in the neighborhood to please pick up any waste their dogs may leave on other's property.
The board received a letter describing damage caused by a lightning strike. Ray and Jim will inspect the tree that was struck to determine if it is in the common area and if it needs to be removed.
Covenants Replacement
The board has reviewed and started the editing process for the new covenants. Instructions for all homeowners to review the recommended changes will be sent out with annual dues notice. Voting on acceptance of the changes will take place in April with the elections for the expiring board seats. Adoption of the changes will occur if two thirds of those voting approve.

The meeting adjourned at 9:15. Next meeting is set for 7:00 PM on Tuesday, 6 November at the Curran residence. The agenda will be to finish the changes to the covenants.
