Crossings HOA Meeting Minutes – Jan 2006

Year ending financial statements attached.
Retention pond filter needs attached to drain. May have already been done by Pat.
Trees may need removed from common grounds adjacent to Lesjack and O'Connor properties. Need to evaluate whether or not they are eyesores or hazards.
Need to evaluate pea gravel vs. limestone chips at entrances to common grounds.
H.O.A. will remove wood fencing at common ground entrances in 2006.
New children's' playset replaced with a combination of funding from donations and the H.O.A. treasury. Credit goes to Chris, Mike, and Randy . . . well done. Thanks is also due to Bill D. for guaranteeing financing, which fortunately was not necessary.
Need to schedule a Community Clean-up Day for the Spring.
Need bulbs replaced/renewed in the lights at the entrances.
H.O.A. is considering swings for the new children's' playset ($2500 to $3000).
Need to set dates for next election of officers of the H.O.A. (March 6 to April 24).
The officers need to do a common grounds walk to make a work list and prioritize same.
H.O.A. needs to review the plan's covenants, which are posted on the community web site, to assess renewal vs. dissolution of the H.O.A., and the potential impacts.
Mike K. is handling the matter of the vehicular strike of the Hunting Ridge Trail entrance sign and lighting. Mike obtained the police report and met with the driver's insurance adjuster, etc.
The H.O.A. needs to evaluate an increase in annual dues and the timing for same.
