Crossings HOA Meeting Minutes – Sept 25, 2003

MINUTES OF THE CROSSINGS’ BOARD SPECIAL MEETING
September 25, 2003

The special meeting was held at the home of Ray Speicher and began at 7:10 p.m.  Board members present were Jack Curran, Ray Speicher, Pat Francis, Pat Mullen, Dan O’Connor and Sue Fey.  Rick Mason arrived at approximately 8:15 p.m.  Pat Francis was absent.

This meeting of the Crossings’ Board was called as a follow up to the McGinnis’s (149 Crossing Ridge Trail) complaint regarding the Hinerman’s (151 Crossing Ridge Trail) shed described in the meeting minutes of July 13, 2003, and in preparation for another meeting at the Cranberry Township Zoning Hearing Board scheduled for Monday evening, October 13, 2003.  Jack, Dan and Ray to attend.

The Hinermans’ requested variance to the Township’s ordinances regarding their shed was unanimously denied by the Cranberry Zoning Hearing Board on Monday, July 14, 2003. The Hinermans are appealing the denied variance decision by the Township.

Ray reported he received a letter from Jon M. Canty, Esq., of Dillon, McCandless, King, Coulter & Graham, L.L.P., dated September 17, 2003, who Ray contacted after the Board agreed at the meeting of July 13, 2003, to seek legal clarification of terminology within the Covenants.

Ray called Attorney Canty at approximately 7:50 p.m. to discuss the issues and answer board members’ questions.

The Crossings’ Board is scheduled to meet at the Hinerman home on Sunday, September 28, 2003, to view the property and shed in order to assist the Board in making our determination of whether or not to issue a modification to the setback requirements.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:50 p.m.
