MINUTES OF THE CROSSINGS’ BOARD MEETING
MARCH 2, 2003
The meeting was held at Dan O’Connor’s and was called to order by Jack Curran at7:06 p.m. Board members Jack Curran, Sue Fey, Pat Francis, Cathy Lesjack, Pat Mullen, Dan O’Connor, and Ray Speicher were present.
Cathy reviewed last month’s minutes. Pat Mullen reported that three homeowners still owe dues for 2002. He has mailed “last chance” letters before starting lien proceedings. He announced that 77 percent of the homeowners have paid their dues for 2003. Jack stated that he has talked with an auditor who specializes in homeowner associations and was informed that a full audit costs approximately $4000. The auditor suggested that a “spot audit” should be sufficient for our association based on the small number of financial transactions we have. The spot audit will take place at a later date.
Ray reported that the tree removal by Lakeview Landscaping has been completed with satisfactory results. He also announced that the nomination forms are ready and will be mailed this week. They are to be returned to a committee member on or before March 24, 2003. Ray will draw up an agenda and notice of the annual meeting to be mailed with the ballots in early April. The annual meeting will be held on Monday, April 28, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. in the Phase I pavilion.
Sue presented the tabulated results of the fall survey. The results and the board’s response to homeowner’s questions will be discussed at the annual meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:05 p.m. The next meeting will be held on Sunday, April 6, 2003, at Pat Mullen’s at 7:00 p.m. The nominees for the election will be invited to attend this meeting.
