Crossings HOA Meeting Minutes – Nov 9, 2001

MINUTES OF THE CROSSINGS’ BOARD MEETING
NOVEMBER 9, 2001

The meeting was held at Pat Mullen’s and was called to order by Jack Curran at 6:35 p.m. Board members present included Jack Curran, Pat Francis, Cathy Lesjack, Rhonda Monikowski, Pat Mullen and Ray Speicher.

Pat Mullen distributed the Treasurer’s report and stated that all is in order. Collection of homeowner dues is on target.

Jack reported that Ray had ordered dirt for behind the backstop however; the truck was too heavy and was sinking during delivery. They will wait for the ground to freeze before bringing another truck in. Therefore, planting will be held off until spring. He also said that Jack Rimer reported a dead tree in the common ground on Nottingham. Pat F. will handle.

Pat F. reported that he cut and disposed of a fallen tree in the common ground by Cook’s. He also stated that Eckenrode had cancelled three appointments to fix Donofrio’s and now their equipment is put away for the season. Pat requested permission to try another contractor for approximately the same amount of money. The board approved. He also said that Eckenrode recommends edging the paths into the common ground to keep runoff from killing the grass. He will seek another opinion. He will also get estimates on paver stone for underneath the grills in Phase I. He reported that the Phase III shelter is in good shape.

Pat M. suggested the board spend some of the surplus money that is accruing. Money will be spent on fixing the water problem behind Donofrio’s/ Madeja’s; paver stone under Phase I grills; staining the swing set in Phase I; and shingling the roof and staining the Phase I pavilion. Pat M. will handle the staining and shingling.

Jack will have John Cegalis contact Rhonda about the website. It is hoped it will be up and running by year-end.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:09 p.m. The next meeting will be Sunday, January 6, 2002 at Pat Francis’.
